99 % fail at professional football
99% of footballers starting out at academy level will fail.Of all the guy's who come into football, there's only 1% who will make it.

The statistics are really sobering. Out of all the boys who enter an academy at the age of 9, less than half of 1% make it. Or a make a living from the game either.
